Chief Science Officer

Scienaptic is a new age AI powered credit underwriting company that offers end-to-end credit decisioning platform. Scienaptic’s Ether platform is fundamentally disrupting the way consumer credit is administered. Financial institutions looking to expand their addressable market are engaging with Ether, which offers a suite of smart AI tools to better identify qualified prospects, flag high-risk prospects, and offer a much more comprehensive risk assessment. This approach allows financial institutions to attract prospects that were previously off the map and lend profitably to a previously underserved market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead core algorithmic evolution of the company

  • Create and Embed cutting edge algorithms into platform

  • Deliver exceptional client impact through PoCs

  • Attract and Develop globally superior ML competency in the organisation

  • Evolving methodologies and practices in-line with evolution of industry and academia

  • Build partnerships with open source community, academia and other companies as relevant

  • Work with leadership team to create and manage product roadmap


Skills and competencies:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in the area of Machine Learning and Artificial
    Intelligence with a multidisciplinary background in algorithms and computer science

  • Experience in both prototyping new algorithms as well as incremental improvements to
    existing solutions

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills combined with ability to lead and perform
    data analytics

  • PhD/Masters in Mathematics/Statistics; Kaggle experience will be an additional advantage

  • Experience in working with Financial services and product platforms will be preferred
