Business Development Manager - New York

Scienaptic is a new age AI powered credit underwriting company that offers end-to-end credit decisioning platform. Scienaptic’s Ether platform is fundamentally disrupting the way consumer credit is administered. Financial institutions looking to expand their addressable market are engaging with Ether, which offers a suite of smart AI tools to better identify qualified prospects, flag high-risk prospects, and offer a much more comprehensive risk assessment. This approach allows financial institutions to attract prospects that were previously off the map and lend profitably to a previously underserved market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target

  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling

  • Manage and solve conflicts with clients. You will be expected to have specific information regarding daily operations of the Company and keep the Client updated.

  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account.

  • Establish budgets with the client and company.

  • Meet timelines for accounts.

  • Understand existing clients' business needs, deliver sales presentations, work closely with pre-sales & product team to develop proposals and manage deals through the sales cycle

  • Manage account revenue targets

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline for winning and growing business

  • Flexibility to travel to the client locations within and outside the country is a must

Skills and competencies:

  • 10+ years of solid Sales management experience managing BFSI clients

  • An aptitude for sales is key,

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is required
